Prologue

Abstract

This volume No. 13 presents a compilation structured into 6 thematic sections which comprise 10 articles. The first section called Education presents the article: Teaching resources in teaching and learning English: an exploratory approach. The second section, entitled Higher Education in the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast, presents the articles: Ranking of the most read articles of URACCAN published in its electronic journals with open access; Academic Offer of the URACCAN in the Degree Level for the Quinquennium 2014-2018; The third section called Linguistic and Cultural Revitalization, presents the article: Attitudes of the Creoles of Bluefields towards the implementation of their kriol mother tongue in the EIB Primary Education. The fourth section, Indigenous and Afro-descendant Culture, includes the article: Productive system of the Miskitu indigenous community of Tasbarraya, RAAN. The fifth section called Gender and Identity with articles: Women rising up with the Moravian Church, war and NGOs; Daughters all, some mothers; Contributions to the communal development of small organized producers, Nueva Guinea, Nicaragua. The sixth section named Social Sciences, includes the articles: Psychosocial factors of work and Burnout syndrome in university teachers, Bluefields, Nicaragua; Childhood and adolescence victims of sexual abuse, community Caño el Sapote, municipality of Waslala, 2012.
