Methodologies in the teaching of probability calculation in the eleventh grade, secondary education
Abstract
In this article we have analyzed the methodologies in the teaching of the calculation of probabilities in the eleventh grade of secondary education. It is a qualitative and quantitative study with a design at the descriptive level, where students and teachers of Mathematics in Secondary Education participated. The information was collected from the observation, the content analysis guide, interview, cognitive questionnaire and survey. The analysis was performed with the statistical software for Social Sciences, Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) and a control list matrix. The results show that the didactic methodologies used in the teaching of the calculation of probabilities have been characterized by a model of teaching I learn, practice and apply, taking into account situations-problems of daily life and the context of the study population. However, the lack of interest of the student to the subject of Mathematics has a negative influence on the calculation of probabilities
