Open Access Policy
The University Magazine of the Caribbean, provides open, free, immediate access to its content under the principle of free availability of research, aimed at the community of researchers, public who is interested in the topics covered by the University Magazine of the Caribbean and public in general; to encourage the exchange of global knowledge. That is why the Caribbean University Magazine subscribes to the Budapest BOAI 2002 declaration and its subsequent updates.
Likewise, readers can download, read, store, copy, print and search the articles for free without requesting prior permission from the editor or the author and distributing the approved and published final version (post print) of the article, provided When it is done without commercial purposes, no derivative works are generated and the source of publication and authorship of the work is mentioned.
The University Journal of the Caribbean also recommends and allows its authors to license their work under the Creative Commons Attribution – Non Commercial – No Derivative 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 International)license, which implies that the article and the research note can be copied, distributed and communicated publicly under the condition that the credits explicitly recognize the author and the work in the manner established by the latter, without the right to commercial exploitation and the preparation of derivative works.
